Scheduled from 31st October to 2nd November 2025, this year’s theme, Masquerade of Mayhem, promises a grand celebration of art, music, and performance as thousands of students from across the country gather to mark two decades of Waves.
In its 20-year journey, Waves has grown into one of India’s most anticipated college cultural festivals, attracting over 10,000 participants and attendees each year. Known for its unmatched energy, creativity, and scale, the fest has hosted some of the biggest names in Indian entertainment — and its milestone edition aims to make the legacy even stronger.
When night falls, the Waves stage turns into a spectacle of sound and emotion. From soulful Bollywood evenings featuring Mohit Chauhan, Amit Trivedi, and Sunidhi Chauhan, to Indie performances by Mohammed Irfan and Pineapple Express, from electric EDM and rap showcases by Raftaar and Seedhe Maut, to laughter-filled sets by Aakash Gupta and Abhishek Upmanyu, the nights at Waves are packed with performances that rival professional concerts.
The festival’s days are just as exciting, driven by its celebrated Big Four — Searock (India’s leading semi-professional band competition), Natyanjali (the grand dance extravaganza), Mr. & Ms. Waves (a showcase of talent and charisma), and the elegant Fashion Parade. Alongside these are fan-favourite events such as Show Me The Funny (stand-up), Rangmanch (theatre), Sizzle (street dance battles), Moot Court (legal duels), Strangely Familiar (a fun compatibility challenge), and the ever-popular Prom Night, making Waves a complete cultural celebration.
As Waves ’25 celebrates its 20th anniversary, it stands not just as a fest, but as a symbol of passion, art, and expression that has defined BITS Goa’s cultural spirit for two decades.
