United Kingdom, 16th Feb 2026 – Prospera, a UK-based startup, is transforming wealth management with an AI-powered app that personalizes financial advice. It helps users design their ideal lifestyle, manage debt, prioritize meaningful goals, and create tailored investment strategies. Registration for early beta testing is now open at Prospera.li.

Prospera Revolutionizes Wealth Management with AI-Driven Personalized Financial Planning

Up until today, true wealth management has only been reserved for the elite.

While a lot of budgeting and tracking apps are out there, they are all mostly glorified Excel sheets that help you keep track of your spending.
But have you ever asked yourself, what do I do with all this tracking?
The same can be said for investments. There is no shortage of fund brokers and financial advisors who act more like salesmen for predefined funds.
But how do you know that investing is the right financial move for you?
AI-powered applications have been on the rise, but you can clearly tell that most of them are just ChatGPT wrappers that look nice.
Prospera saw this gap and decided to solve it once and for all. The team assembled leading wealth and personal finance veterans to create the ultimate financial advisor.
“People think of wealth as how much money they can accumulate; We think of wealth as a lifestyle you can sustain, and that can get you to where you want to be in life,” said one of the co-founders.
I was granted access to their closed beta. And while I consider myself quite financially savvy, I can tell you that it completely changed my relationship with money.

Getting started

When I first launched the app, I was expecting another fancy investment platform, with some AI chatbot to give me generic advice.

Saying that I was shocked is an understatement. The first thing the app wanted to understand is who I am. It asked me questions like how many kids I had and if I have any upcoming commitments (I happen to be renovating my house, and it took that into account).

Setting the north star

The next step was what really made me rethink every single decision I had.

Do you ever ask yourself why you are doing all of this? Every Starbucks coffee you save, how is it changing your life? Those 4% returns on your savings account, is it really helping you? What’s the end goal of this all?

Reflecting now, after having used Prospera, it all feels so obvious. But I admit that I, like many of you, was just doing what felt right in the moment, without really being intentional about it.

I always felt this pressure in the back of my mind to spend as little as I can while maximizing my earning, going after every penny I can. I get anxious when Christmas comes and I have to spend half a salary on gifts, or when my friends add me to the “Europe summer trip” WhatsApp group.

If you feel the same as I did, I can tell you that it doesn’t have to be that way. I finally understood that wealth is about living now while choosing my future. Wealth is not letting your circumstances determine your quality of life, neither today nor tomorrow.

Prospera started my journey by forcing me to design my “rich life.” I chose how I want my best life to look like. It didn’t ask me “how much do you need for retirement.” Instead, it forced me to think about what truly matters to me.

And for me, it turns out that having the time to be with my family, the luxury of not waking up to a 6:00 alarm, and the freedom to only work on what inspires me, was all that I wanted.

Designing your lifestyle

The relief I felt after going through the app’s process was immense. It analyzed my profile, assets (even my car and jewelry), and liabilities, then created a tailored plan for me. I was initially worried I’d find out I’d been living recklessly, but instead, it mapped out a path to reach my goals in 12 years, while allowing me to enjoy life now. It prioritized what mattered to me, including carving out a “travel budget” to enjoy life along the way.

The app also stopped me from investing due to my high-interest student loan debt; I had been splitting contributions between loan repayments and investments. It pointed out that paying off the debt first made more sense financially. Once that’s done, it recommended building an emergency fund to cover 6 months of expenses in case my income stops.

This realization has made me feel more in control of my finances and excited about the future, knowing I can step away from my job if needed while still sustaining my current lifestyle.

Investing

While I personally didn’t get to the stage where I’m allowed to invest, I got the chance to have a look at some of the features the team has built.

I can tell you that it was not at all what I expected. No “top stock picks,” no predetermined portfolios, no “trendy industries.”

Instead, the app purely focused on allocation. It linked everything it learned about me in the first few weeks to derive my risk tolerance, which assets to invest in, and how much to allocate per month. If you are like me and consider yourself financially savvy, you may find yourself, after a few years of investing, left with a long list of random tickers you genuinely thought were “hot” at the time.

I personally ended up with more than 20 stocks that I was tracking individually on almost a daily basis. I won’t lie, I kind of enjoyed it, and it kind of made me feel smart. But never had I taken a step back and thought of investing as a “strategy.”

Prospera did just that. It analyzed my holdings, and then explained exactly why this doesn’t suit my profile. It showed me why “more stocks doesn’t mean more diversification.”

What I really liked is that it included me in the process of creating my new investment plan. It allowed for preferences around crypto, gold, and real estate, as it understands that investing money sometimes goes beyond simply optimizing returns.

Going forward

After four weeks of using Prospera, I feel like a weight I didn’t even know I carried was lifted off my shoulders. I now go and enjoy my life, sip on my $10 Matcha, plan my trips guilt-free, and invest where it really matters.

Most importantly, I have the comfort that I’m living happily while also preparing for an even happier future.

After a month of securely gathering my data, the built-in conversational AI is now tailored to my situation and can answer questions like “should I pay mortgage or rent?” or even simpler ones like “for my situation, is it reasonable to pay $200 for a fancy dinner?”

I am really grateful for the team at Prospera, and I’m really excited to see how this project evolves.

If you wish to get a taste of what they offer, they currently have limited spots for early Beta testing at Prospera.li
