Rockstar Games has published a job listing for a Senior Product Manager, aiming to improve monetization and strengthen relationships with content creators. According to game.news, this listing has sparked speculation that Rockstar is preparing to fund and support creators involved with Grand Theft Auto VI.
The listing states that the Senior Product Manager will lead major product initiatives across Creator Platforms and be responsible for managing monetization, social experiences, and viewership performance. This reveals Rockstar’s serious commitment to user-generated content for GTA VI.
As reported by game.news, Rockstar’s Creator Platform team is developing an environment where players can create content on fully customizable private servers. This will allow content creators to build their own game modes and other modifications. The system closely resembles community-driven GTA RP (Roleplay) servers. As Insider Gaming noted, this has led to speculation that RP features and modding tools may arrive earlier than the community expects.
Set to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Grand Theft Auto VI has already attracted massive attention from players. As of the time of writing, the game’s first trailer has surpassed 260 million views, with over 12 million likes and more than 1 million comments.
