In 2025, the publishing rights for John Wick Hex were transferred to Big Fan Games, a label under Devolver Digital’s parent company, Good Shepherd Entertainment, which specializes in licensed titles. The company confirmed that current owners will continue to have access to the game through their digital libraries and physical copies.
Based on the popular John Wick franchise, the game serves as a narrative prequel to the movie series. Initially launched on PC on October 8, 2019, it was later released on consoles a year after.
