Cummings, Esq., as Attorney and Global Chair of the firm’s Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Practice.
With a distinguished legal and corporate career spanning five decades, Ms. Cummings brings to the firm an expansive dimension of experience at the intersection of law, business strategy, human capital, corporate governance, and capital markets. Her practice will focus on advising multinational enterprises on complex matters involving ERISA compliance, executive compensation design, multi-jurisdictional employment law, employee benefits, and tax-qualified and non-qualified retirement and incentive compensation plans.
Prior to joining Cummings & Cummings Law, Ms. Cummings held senior legal and executive positions at a number of Fortune 500 companies, including Halliburton, Dell Technologies, Walmart, Kerr-McGee (now Occidental Petroleum), Keurig Dr Pepper, Plains Capital Bank, Chesapeake Energy, Hertz, Michaels Stores, and Cityblock Health. She also serves as a Board Member of the SouthWest Benefits Association and is an adjunct professor in the University of Oklahoma’s Master of Human Resources program, where she teaches compensation and benefits law and strategy at the graduate level.

She is admitted to practice in the State of Oklahoma and counsels clients on matters of federal law nationwide and internationally. Based in both Dallas, Texas and Bonita Springs, Florida, she will lead the firm’s executive compensation and benefits initiatives across all jurisdictions served by the practice.
Additionally, the firm announces the appointment of Jeanne J. Stevens as Chief Administrative Officer. Ms. Stevens brings over 30 years of operational leadership experience in employee health and welfare, retirement programs, and enterprise administration. She has held pivotal roles of substantial breadth and depth at enterprises including Dell Technologies, Rockport Healthcare Services, Keurig Dr Pepper, Hertz, Michaels Stores, and Cadbury Schweppes, where she led multimillion-dollar benefit portfolios, regulatory compliance initiatives, audits, and cross-functional teams across domestic and international platforms.
In her role as Chief Administrative Officer, Ms. Stevens will oversee firm-wide operations, strategic initiatives, and the development and implementation of administrative systems in support of the firm’s continued exponential growth.
