Sabrina Walker Hernandez is the nonprofit expert who founded Support World Hope from her hospital bed. After being diagnosed with cancer and receiving a stem cell transplant, Sabrina’s world had been turned upside down. She had to retire from her job as the CEO of a nonprofit, a role she had worked up to and had loved for the last 15 years. With a total of 25 years experience in the nonprofit sector, she knows exactly what it takes to run a successful nonprofit. Sabrina was eager to continue changing the world and giving people hope so her business Supporting World Hope was born. They are an organization that helps fill the gap for small to midsize nonprofits who do not have access to a national office by providing counsel and advice in a wide variety of areas including board development, resource development, fundraising, executive coaching, fundraising, training for board or staff, leadership retreat planning and facilitation and strategic planning. Sabrina has demonstrated her ability to help nonprofits gain the success that they deserve. Most notably Sabrina increased a business’ operation revenue from $750,000 to $2.5M in addition to completing a $12M comprehensive capital campaign in the 3rd poorest county in the United States.
Sabrina and Supporting World Hope have expanded to help small businesses in addition to nonprofits. Sabrina is certified in Nonprofit Management by Harvard Business School and a bestselling author, she prides herself in her ability to teach clients how to build relationships which translate into donations or revenue. She has previously helped small businesses with strategic planning, training and leadership retreats to help their leaders and staff gain the confidence necessary for the business to strive.
